Major oil company trusts ACINDEC the design and construction of an electrostatic heater treater API 12 L Dual Polarity technology of CAMERON company to optimize the final process of separation of oil and water in order to replace traditional dehydration systems such as washing tanks or lower efficiency conventional treaters.
ACINDEC technical staff in collaboration with its strategic partner, CAMERON PROCESS, works together in the design and construction of equipment to meet adequately the process conditions required by the customer.
The equipment will have within a single container a heating section and a coalescing section with electrostatic internals, which generates an electric field enhancing coalescence of water droplets dispersed in oil, facilitating and improving their separation. The union of these two heating and coalescence processes as well as the latest technology components will allow having levels of sediment and water (BS&W) of 0.1% at the crude output, thus facilitating to send directly the crude to the pipeline for transportation.
The equipment will be built in the ACINDEC production facility and will be mounted on SKID along with all its valves, accessories, instrumentation, and other control components ready for installation and commissioning in the field.
